What goes on a good pet ID tag

Keep it simple and legible: your pet's name on the top line, your mobile number underneath, and a suburb or second number if there's room. On a 20mm tag you have three lines; on a 30mm, four. How many lines can I have engraved?

Three lines on a 20mm (small) tag and four lines on a 30mm (medium) tag. We'd recommend a name and contact number as the priority — on the smaller tags especially, fewer lines stay far easier to read.

Is the engraving really free?

Yes. Every tag includes free engraving with no surcharge and no minimum order. The price you see on the tag is the price you pay.

Which side is engraved?

Most tags carry a design on one side, so we engrave the reverse. Our plain stainless steel tags have no design, so we can engrave both sides if you'd like more room.

What should I put on the tag?

Your pet's name and your mobile number are the essentials. If there's space, a suburb or a second number can help. Whoever finds your pet needs to read it quickly, so clear beats cramped.

How do I choose a size?

The 20mm (small) suits cats and small dogs; the 30mm (medium) suits larger dogs. Bigger tags also give you an extra line and are easier to read at a glance.

How long until I get it?

Will the engraving wear off?
